Conference Location
The conference will take place at Loke Yew Hall, Main Building at The University of Hong Kong.
Visa Requirements
Most overseas visitors can enter Hong Kong without a visa for tourism or short business visits, with permitted stays ranging from 7 to 180 days depending on nationality. For longer stays or activities such as work, study, or business, a visa or entry permit is required.

Accommodation
A variety of hotels are available near HKU. Here are some recommended options:
- JEN Hong Kong by Shangri-La: 508 Queen’s Road West, Hong Kong (1 min walk to HKU Station)
- Oasis Aurum 181 Hotel: 181 Connaught Road West, Hong Kong (5 min walk to HKU Station)
- Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong: 167 Connaught Road West, Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong (7-10 mins taxi to HKU / 5 mins walk to Sai Ying Pun MTR Station)
- Ibis Hong Kong Central & Sheung Wan: 28 Des Voeux Road West, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong (10-12 mins taxi to HKU / 10 mins walk to Sheung Wan MTR Station)
Transportation
MTR (Metro)
The nearest station is HKU Station on the Island Line.
- From Hong Kong International Airport: take the Airport Express to Hong Kong Station, then transfer to the Island Line to HKU Station (approximately 50 minutes total).
- From High-Speed Rail West Kowloon Station: walk to MTR Kowloon Station. Take the Tung Chung Line 1 stop to Hong Kong Station. Transfer to the Island Line towards Kennedy Town and alight at HKU Station.
Buses
- From Hong Kong International Airport: take Citybus route A10 to the area near HKU.
- From High-Speed Rail West Kowloon Station: Take Citybus routes 970, 970X or 973 to the area near HKU.
- Routes 23, 37A, 40, 40M, and 90B stop near HKU’s main campus.
Taxis
Red taxis are available for direct transfer from Hong Kong International Airport or High-Speed Rail West Kowloon Station to HKU.
Useful Tip
Purchase an Octopus Card for seamless payments across MTR, buses, and other transport. Alternatively, you can use Alipay or WeChat Pay (with transit QR codes) to pay for MTR and buses – fares are the same as Octopus.
You can also use HKeMobility or Google Maps for point-to-point direction and the most up to date transport information.
For late-night arrivals after midnight, overnight bus route NA10 serves the HKU area. Check schedules in advance as services are less frequent and few alternatives are available after midnight.
